Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter and Game Room Short Review
Ok so the other day I realized that my super high tech game console built by freakin MICROSOFT doesn't have built in wi-fi, and even my little handheld bulky original (but still awesome) DS has built in wi-fi. So, this is a problem when I can't get a wired connection while at my mom's house, which is every other week, so I had to get the Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter (yes, I did just copy and paste that from Gamestop.com), but I actually bought it on Amazon. Since I already owed my dad a ton of money for the Xbox, and we scored the Network Adapter for pretty cheap (at least cheaper than retail price, which is $99.99) my dad just gave it to me as sort of a gift so I don't know the exact price, sorry... I think it was around $70 or maybe $60, I really don't know. Anyway, like pretty much everything in packaging like the adapter it took alot of effort and really big scissors, and after getting cut by plastic like 6 times and ruining the packaging of ever being able to be reassembled again, I was able to get the adapter out. It also came with a bunch of instructions and a disk to install the drivers for the adapter on your computer... but I just put the adapter on my Xbox and configured the network (put the password and whatnot) and it just worked without needing any of the instructions or having to even turn on my computer so I don't know what those things are for. And since I got access to Xbox Live again I decided to download Game Room, a new... uhh... game... thing... sort of... that basically let's you download (buy) arcade games and put them in your own virtual arcade for you and your friends to play. It already has a wide variety of arcade, Intellivision, and Atari games even though it just recently launched, games run for about $3, which is a stretch for some of these crappy games, but I would gladly pay $3 for games like Temptest and Combat, two games my friend has in his arcade that I seriously want to download for myself. There are also tons of decorations and stuff to put in each room of your 3 story arcade (each story with several rooms) but alot of them require you to like level up or something but I have no idea HOW you level up so I am just pretty much stuck with the beginner rooms and beginner decorations. Anyway, I think that Game Room has plenty of possibilities and hopefully we will be seeing alot more great titles in the future.

My Top 5 Favorite Fighting Game Series
Well the title says it all, a list of my favorite Fighting Game Series (if you know me well then you should know what number 1 is).
5. Virtua Fighter
Ok, so this one is number 5 because I really almost wasn't going to put it on this list at all but I love Virtua Fighter 2 on my Genisis so I decided to put it on as number 5. Well if you say the characters are unoriginal, well the unoriginal people just copied Virtua Fighter because it was there first. Oh and the fact that you jump like your on the moon is just awesome for me, I mean I liked it in Halo... Anyway, I really don't have much else to say except, what console were Virtua Fighter 3 and 4? I have only seen 1, 2, and 5.
4. Tekken
I'm sorry this is number 4 on the list, I know a certain friend who would kill me for putting it as number 4 but at least hear me out, Tekken is pure awesomeness but I am not the biggest fan of Tekken, I do remember it being in arcades when I was younger but until my friend introduced it to me I didn't play it alot. Anyway Tekken is very unique and it is THE Arcade Fighter that even in Tekken 6 still has all of that Arcade feel. I liked the Campain mode of Tekken 6 at first but probably the day after I typed up my Tekken 6 first impression post I found it getting a little annoying and frustrating. Oh and about that unique comment, well I mean you can play as people from practically around the whole world and you can not only play as a Kangeroo but also a Panda, a PANDA, and yes the Panda is one of my favorite characters.
3. Street Fighter
Ok this one is obvious, I always knew about Street Fighter about as far back as I can remember because it's just so universally known. I might as well just say this right now that my favorite Street Fighter Character is Sakura and no not because of the reasons you people are thinking... and if you weren't thinking that, sorry I just get that alot... but the reason I like playing as Sakura is because I like playing as Ryu and Sakura is just basically a faster Ryu. One thing I don't like about Street Fighter is that they have to remake the same game over and over so if I bought the original than everyone laughs at me because they have the super hyper ultra alpha 4.5 beta anniversary edition... I mean I don't mind Super Street Fighter 4 but when we have like 10 versions of Street Fighter 4 with no Street Fighter 5 in sight I am gonna be pissed...
2. Mortal Kombat
I love Mortal Kombat, not just because of it's over the top gore, but also because I love almost all Mortal Kombat games New and Old (I said almost because of Shoalin Monks...) and somehow I still have not played Mortal Kombat Vs DC... I know I should have played it forever ago but it was that or Little Big Planet... and ever since I just haven't had the money to spare on it... oh and Armogedon has like one of the biggest rosters I have ever seen, with all sorts of merable characters. Oh and please do not mention the Mortal Kombat movies... I would rather not remember those... Also if you can actually pull off those fatalities then kudos to you because I certainly can't, I mean Mortal Kombat is like the king of complicated moves... and spelling everything with a K....
1. Darkstalkers
Yeah, if you know me then this one should have been really obvious, I mean Jedah, Felicia, and Morrigan are like my favorite fighting game characters of all time. Well where do I start? Ok, Darkstalkers is basically an underrated gem made by Capcom and almost forgotten, I mean come on, they are suck teases, they just forget about Darkstalkers and then just put Morrigan in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom with not future plans of releasing a new Darkstalkers game. I mean COME ON! But, I am sure that one day we will get our next-gen Darkstalkers game... someday... anyway, Darkstalkers is basically a fighter with the Capcom fighting engine and awesome original characters that are straight out of all kinds of folklore and mythology, of course the roster isn't as big as most fighting games but I still love it and if I were to get an arcade machine then it would be a Darkstalkers arcade machine because I just love it so much. I cannot explain properly how awesome Darkstalkers is until you play it yourself, but it is just great... and one can only dream for a new Darkstalkers game...

Gameworks is Aweosome!
Well on Saturday me and my friends went to an arcade called Gameworks for my "birthday" (It was acutally on the previous week). If you don't know what Gameworks it then it's basically an Arcade with all kinds of games (especially SEGA since I think SEGA owns Gameworks... or at least the SEGA logo is all over the place) but instead of coins you use these cards with credits on them. Games like Centipede, Tetris, and Guantlet cost 1 credit, games like Afterburner Climax cost 8, and games like the Initial D version 3 game with a real moving car seat... pod... thing cost 7. Oh and did I mention that $20 dollars gets you 100 credits? Yeah you and your friends could play Guantlet for hours with only $20. Oh and the music they played at my local Gameworks was awesome, they played a ton of weezer, and even a song that I just started listening too recently because of Naruto Randomness 7, Wonderwall by Oasis. Well let me tell you this was probably my best visit to Gameworks, they always add new stuff whenever I go but WOW. Ok let me start off by saying that for the past two years the damn Super Monkey Ball machine was broken but they FINALLY fixed it and it was as awesome as I remember. Oh and this was awesome, THEY HAD A JAPANESE ARCADE MACHINE OF TATSUNOKO VS CAPCOM!!! Yeah, it was cool, except for the 40 year old dude who looked like he had no life who hogged the machine for like half an hour beating the full game like twice without getting hit once. Once he left I sure had fun beating my friend using Morigan and Karas in an arcade machine. Oh yeah did I mention the Tekken 6 arcade machine? Yeah, one of my friends who absolutely loves Tekken was so happy to play the game before it freakin came out on consoles. What else... Oh yeah they had this Afterburner Climax machine that moved like in a pod that was just awesome and now I so wish I had one of those in my house. I barely played House of the Dead 4 but that was because I was running low on credits and wanted to play the games that gave out tickets (one that usually just gave you like 150 tickets with ease for 10 credits) so I could get a Sonic the Hedgehog shotglass, no I won't drink from it, mostly because I am not 21 and more importantly because it had a warning sticker that mention chemicals, death, and cancer... Anyway, it was great and I am not sure if Gameworks is just local or a franchise but if you find one near you check it out because my local Gameworks was just pure awesome.
