I've been gone for over a month haven't I?

Ok, well I wish I could tell you why I've been gone for so long, but it's pretty personal, if anyone is actually reading this and you for some reason want to know if "I'm ok" or whatever, let's just say I really hope so but I'm not sure... but yeah, that personal crap, and school... and my birthday was this month and... yeah... idk when or if I'll be back, but I'm sorry for not updating in so long...

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep First Impressions

Ok, so you might wanna read my previous post about what I'll be doing if I come back and everything, and I was originally just gonna play some flash games today, but I decided that if today I actually have the luxury of free time, maybe I should just do a post. Anyway, here's my first Impression of Birth by Sleep... Oh and, this might have a bit of spoilers from the game, but most likely just stuff from the beginning since I'm not that far...

Alright, so when I first started up the game I realized they gave you three choices for data install (I think Peace Walker only had like two choices) after deleting and moving a few things, (including some Castlevania PSN game I can just play on my PS3 and some of the Peace Walker data install) I was able to install the 624 MB data install and load times are pretty quick, nothing to complain about really, it did take a while to install but whatever. I would seriously recommend you do the data install because from what I hear, load time without it has longer load time then a psp launch title! Anyway, for some reason I absolutely hated the cutscenes in the beginning (not all of them, just like one or two) especially Aqua's super fake laugh, I mean, I thought it was just me who noticed that until my friend was laughing his ass off over it. Now, I know saying that means that I'm going to get hate mail from Square Enix fanboys for the rest of my life, but I think the cutscenes after you leave the Land of Departure or whatever it's called were just fine. But like I said about Aqua, there is just something about the voice they chose for her that at times seems perfectly normal, but every now and again feels like she doesn't know the English language very well. Anyway, enough about having opinions that'll get me hate mail, after all this is the Internet, I'm not ALLOWED to have opinions. So yeah, the order I chose for which characters to play as is Ven, then Aqua, and then Terra, mainly because it seems like if the game didn't allow me to choose, that would probably be the order it would want me to play. I picked Terra last mainly since Terra's adventures seem to be shrouded in so much mystery, like for example, if you were given the choice to play as Riku in the original Kingdom Hearts, it would just feel weird to play as him first. I have yet to actually play the multiplayer, I at least hope it's good, um... what else is there about the game? Well, the worlds are fun, and there's plenty of new ones, in fact, so far I don't think I've run into a world that's been in a previous Kindom Hearts game before. Um... well since I'm never any good at ending things, I think I'm gonna go back to playing Jables's Adventure... I seriously wanna do a video review of like every game that guy has made... anyway, I hope to be doing more posts soon.

Wow, I seriously cannot count how many times I've said sorry to my readers...

Yeah, I announce that I'm coming back and then I just don't update at all... I seriously wish I could say why I haven't been updating but I'd rather not exclame it to the whole internet. Is exclame a word? Anyway, I might be returning soon, and as of right now if I do come back I might be doing posts every 3 days...

I did this post instead of school work so you'd better be greatful

This is just sort of a short post saying that maybe I'll be returning... I don't know, I'm gonna be honest I'm goin through a lot of crap right now and having to type these things every other day is only makin me more stressed out. I was originally gonna spend all day today doing makeup work for P.E... but, well I decided to spend the day typing this post and driving to Little Tokyo... yeah... ANYWAY, this is one of those random topic posts, and the fist thing I'm gonna be talking about is the Scott Pilgrim Video Game... Soundtrack...

Well, for starters I'm listening to it right now... as loud as my headphones will possibly allow me to, and it's freakin amazing. Seriously, if you are a fan of kickass 8-bit music, I recomend that you at least check out the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game Original Videogame Soundtrack (totally rolls right of the tounge doesn't it...). What else is there to talk about?

Hmm, let's see... If you are a fan of Yen Press manga I suggest you go get the final issue of Yen Plus, I mean, it even has a nice little Higurashi manga preview, can't go wrong with Higurashi and Soul Eater for like $8. Speaking of Manga, there is going to be a new Gantz volume really soon, if my freakin Barnes and Noble ever carried a Gantz volume besides 8 and 9 then I would be getting it soon but whatever I need to keep reading Toriko and Scott Pilgrim... and Yu-Gi-Oh R. Oh and apparently the new Rosario Vampire volume comes out in Decemeber, yeah you effin heard me DECEMBER, why must I always wait so long for a manga series so good...

Anyway, this isn't really my style and I know that but I'm just kinda in a hurry and saying the first thing that comes to mind... I will probably be doing a short review of Klonoa Beach Volleyball, oh man are my friends gonna be in for quite the surprise when I bust out 4 controllers and they realize that we're NOT playing Blade Battlers... I am so evil... Anyway, I also picked up a few NES games, besides the barely working Kid Icarus I reviewed earlier I got 4 games by Capcom, and they probably aren't games you'd expect when you hear Capcom, well besides DuckTales... DuckTales was pure awesome.

I seriously don't know what else to write about, this weird short paragraph style is creeping me out since I usually draw out my sentences with commas so a paragraph of like 3 sentences looks like a paragraph of 8. This was a horrible "I'm returning" post... Then again I may not be returning for good, I tend to be quite the asshole so I could change my mind by like tommorrow. So yeah, hopefully I'll be back for good, things like comments and stuff are what will make me most likely stay, so try to leave comments and whatnot.

Is anyone even reading this?

I checked and apparently according to Google my number of visitors at this blog hasn't gone up by like even 1 in the past few months... I don't really want to continue this blog if I'm not even getting one visitor per month, so if anyone is actually reading this, comment on this post, if I at least get a few comments I'll continue with the blog, but as of now I think I'm gonna be going on hiatus...

Probly no post tomorrow

Why do I suck at updating my blog so much? Ugh, there is like a 70% chance that there will be no post tomorrow, I say about 70% because there is kind of a slight chance I'll be able to type up the post today but don't hold me to it...

Friday, August 27, 2010

sorry... skipping...

yeah sorry about skipping the post tomorrow... to be honest I don't know how I'm staying awake long enough to type this right now...

Scott Pilgrim The Game First Impressions

Well, I didn't go to school today because I'm feeling sick but even so I figured it would be kinda messed up to skip another post so, this is just gonna be a short post about my first impressions on the Scott Pilgrim Video Game. Ok, so first of all, yes I got the Xbox 360 version but that's just because like all of my friends own a 360 and I only know like one person with a PS3 so 4 player co-op is gonna be easier since I don't have to buy any controllers. Anyway, since I just got the game a few hours ago and it's a weekday, and all of my friends are at school, I obviously haven't played the co-op yet, but I did play a bit of single player as Scott, since apparently I think there is a code for two people to pick the same character I think I might try playing as Stephen Stills, but if I'm wrong and there is no code I might as well not since my friend already called him. Ok, now down to the game, well first of all as a beat em' up on the 360 the controls feel awesome, I never really play beat em' ups on the PS3 but honestly I'm sure the controls feel just fine for those of you who got the PS3 version, I mean the game WAS originally intended for the PSN only if I'm not mistaken. This game basically plays like River City Ransom if you ever played that game before, and I seriously like using all sorts of objects to help you out in the game, it was so freakin satisfying to have a tire and a box do extra damage to a whole group of enemies at the same time while I was already beating the crap out of them, it was like my attacks were doing triple damage because I was volleying the objects at super close range. The game also REALLY has that 8-bit feel to it, like everything about it is retro, oh and I almost forgot, the soundtrack is AMAZING just totally freakin amazing, I can't really put it into words but trust me if you play the game you'd probably agree with me. So in conclusion, (sorry about the post being kinda short but I seriously think I need to lay down) so far from what I've played of the game it's awesome and totally worth the $10 (or 800 Microsoft points) I spent on it and I'm sure playing with three of my friends this weekend will make it even more worthwhile.

(Short) Retro Review: Kid Icarus

Ok, don't have a lot of time but I promised not to skip my next post so this is gonna kinda be a short review. Alright so I got this game at my local Play N' Trade... or uh actually the guy who owned that one store dropped the franchise and decided, so I got it from "Game Store Video Games" and I seriously wish I was kidding about the name of the store. Anyway, it took me forever to get the damn thing working but when I finally did I seriously couldn't put the controller down, I actually stayed up an extra hour then I usually when I had to wake up really early the next day just to keep playing. The game is kind of like a mix of Metroid, Castlevania, and Ice Climbers, if that makes any sense... I say that it's like Metroid because... Well, honestly I don't know besides the fact that the music kinda sounds like Metroid... sometimes, but I just get this weird Metroid vibe when I play the game. I say it's like Castlevania because I'm running around killing demons and collecting hearts, you could argue that maybe that could remind you of several games, but you know what, this game has enemies that remind of those freakin Medusa Heads from Castlevania 3 so that could also be it. But for the most part, I saw this game as Ice Climbers with a longer range weapon, your movement is a little less "stale" I guess, I kind of don't know how to put it, it's like if you compare the character movements of Ice Climbers with an old Megaman game, in that situation Kid Icarus is basically the Megaman game. It uses a kind of long password system which kind of pisses me off, especially since the game for me still has a few minor graphical glitches (this is obviously just MY cartridge of the game, not every cartridge in existance) and since I can't really tell the difference between some of the letters I just end up getting the passwords wrong anyway. But besides that, this game is awesome, super addicting, and totally worth the $18 I spent on it... I just wish that I could find DuckTales now...

Scott Pilgrim Movie Short Review

Ok, so I went to go see Scott Pilgrim the other day, and I'll start off by saying that I read one volume of the original graphic novel before I went to see the movie, so yes I have seen the original material, or at least some of it. Anyway, let's start the review, ok so first of all the pacing was like SUPER fast, or like at least half of the movie had super fast pacing, that wasn't really a bad thing but seriously since there's like no "transitions" per say, it's like the characters are in 7 different places in one minute. I get that it sort of had to be done since summarizing a 6 volume graphic novel into a two hour movie is pretty tricky, but like everything in volume 1 happens in like the first 10 or 15 minutes. Anyway, besides that, the movie was both hilarious and downright epic, for some reason a few people were just laughing at the whole "combo" thing or any references to video games at all but didn't laugh at any of the REAL jokes, none of those people were me or my friends but seriously, it was weird, I mean, I thought the video game references were cool, like all of the Zelda music used and stuff, but I don't understand how it was you know... funny. Either way, I really shouldn't make fun of people so I'm not gonna say anything else about the strange hipsters sitting in front of us that laughed louder then a police siren every time they made a reference to video games. Anyway, like I said the video game reference things were just kinda cool to me and especially with the "Nega Scott" thing at the end, I won't spoil anything but that was like one of my favorite parts of the movie. A friend of mine said that the movie changed a few things when it got around to the parts of the final two volumes but that was apparently because they just got the creator's early notes for those two volumes when they made the movie version. In conclusion, the pacing of the movie might be weird at the beginning, but you get used to it, they also took some stuff out, and changed a few things around the end, but to be honest it was still awesome, hilarious, and super epic, I SERIOUSLY recommend that you go see this movie.

5 Anime Remakes I Would Like to See

Yeah I know I said I was going to do a post on what I thought about Scott Pilgrim but turns out I'm gonna watch it kinda late at night so... Yeah here I am posting about anime remakes... Anyway this isn't a top 5 list, it's just a list of 5, meaning it is in no particular order.

Alright, so... you all know about the new awesome fascination anime companies have with remakes or just revisiting their older series in general, like with Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Dragon Ball Kai, Shaman King Kang Zeng Bang, Inyasha: The Final Act, Casshern Sins, ect. Well this is a list of anime that I think should be remade as well, some of them I think we should maybe wait a few years but some of them I would like to see in the near future.

1. Soul Eater
Ok, so I haven't actually seen or heard much about the ending of this anime, I'm only about half way through, but first of all I think it's a shame that the anime ended so quickly and the manga still goes on to this day. Anyway, I really don't expect this one to be any time soon, and since popularity for Soul Eater just kind of flew up to the heavens when they still made episodes for it, it kind of seems like everybody forgot about it right after it ended, so honestly I have no idea if they would even consider this. Also, while we're talking about this, does bones plan on giving a filler ending to every anime that reaches a super high level of popularity? Well, I'll probably get an answer to that question eventually since their new series Heroman seems to be getting quite popular, let's all cross our fingers that we don't get a filler ending for that series too...

2. Desert Punk
Desert Punk was one of those anime that kind of had to make a filler ending up since... well since the series didn't have an ending yet and at the time they couldn't just put the show on hiatus since the manga was on hiatus. The series had somewhat of a cult following and right now I feel like an idiot for not getting an issue of Monthly Comic Beam from Japan while my dad still knew somebody who was living there temporarily... anyway if anyone knows where I can get an issue online or something please tell me in a comment. Anyway, sorry about getting off track there... since the manga has continued and I think the Funimation boxset is actually doing kind of well, I think maybe they should try translating the manga for America, seeing if it does well, and maybe if they realize they have an audience besides the regular Japanese hipsters, they could consider a remake sometime down the road, perhaps when the manga is finished. As of right now, much like the Soul Eater remake I really don't see this one happening any time soon... but I can dream can't I?

3. Zatch Bell (AKA: Konjiki no Gash Bell)
This one, much like with Shaman King is something a lot of fans want, but many of us doubt we'll get. However, one of the reasons we actually got a remake of the Shaman King manga was because it never had a real ending, the Zatch Bell manga had a real ending but what I'm asking for is a remake of the anime, since we didn't get the final arc. So this is like Inuyasha, where the manga ended but the anime didn't, and the only reason we got Inuyasha: The Final Act was because Inuyasha is well... It's freakin Inuyasha, it's like one of the most popular anime ever, and Zatch Bell is sort of... well underrated isn't exactly the word I'm looking for... or maybe it is... I don't know this is all really confusing to you isn't it? Well, anyway, this one would be nice to see sometime soon, but I also doubt it... Geez this list might as well be remakes we'll never see...

4. Yu Yu Hakusho
Ok, with Brotherhood, I'm gonna wait til the DVDs get really low in price because I already have all of the original Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs, with Dragon Ball Kai, I might just buy the DBZ remastered DVDs... But if they ever made a Yu Yu Hakusho remake, even though I already have the whole original series on DVD, I would buy the box sets like THE SAME FREAKIN DAY THEY COME OUT! Ok so I don't know if I would buy them the same day but I would totally buy and watch Yu Yu Hakusho remake if they ever made one, I don't think the series had any filler at all, but it did take a few parts out of the end and there were one or two changes here and there, so if it followed the manga exactly and even though I'm not a "graphics whore" it would be kinda cool to see Yu Yu Hakusho in kind of a newer maybe kind of shiny art style. This one I could totally see happening since Yu Yu Hakusho is INSANELY popular and it's also kind of old enough to be remade, and if it did get remade I would totally support it.

5. Gantz
Remember this ISN'T a top 5 list, it's just a list of 5 things, so if anyone is thinking something like "How could you put this at the top of the list Yu Yu Hakusho is way better!" just remember that this list is in NO PARTICULAR ORDER. Anyway, this is yet another remake that will probably never happen, I mean, seriously if you've never read my blog or seen hbi2k's hilarious abridged series of this anime you probably have no idea what the hell Gantz is. Well anyway, the manga for this series if I'm not mistaken is still going on today but it's on like the final story arc. The anime added a lot of stupid filler and character changes in the manga to anime transition and if I'm not mistaken, it ended after about 3 story arcs of the manga and then had a crappy filler arc ending. The anime also always seemed to drag everything out, like I pick of a volume of Gantz and I'm done in like no time at all and all I wanna do is read more Gantz, but I see like 3 episodes of the anime and I just feel tired... I feel like I just watched like 10 episodes but only about 2 episodes of story progression happened, like sometimes I go back just thinking "wait a minute... what ACTUALLY happened in this episode besides like them taking one step forward? I was paying complete attention and it feels like a lot more should have happened..." if you understand kind of what I mean by that. But this in no way means the anime is bad, certainly not, it's still worth checking out, but almost nothing happens in some episodes, like the pacing is all out of whack and the manga in my opinion is sort of better. Anyway, enough on giving my two cents on the anime, now that you know why I think there should be a remake, how bout I tell you what the chances are... Ok, I'm gonna be totally honest... there is like no chance at all of a Gantz remake ever happening like ever, but like I said before... I can dream can't I?

Well, that was my list on anime remakes, hopefully it sort of makes up a little for my lack of posts lately, also, sorry about the lack of pictures but I just spend like an hour and a half typing this and that could have been time I used to do something productive like eating Cheetos or playing Sin and Punishment 2, instead of just typing a post for nobody to read...

Sunday, August 15, 2010

Ok, YES THERE WILL BE A POST TOMORROW!

Yup, it isn't a lame video post but it also isn't a review of Scott Pilgrim, that'll probly be next, but I just finished the post and for my 1 reader I would like to tell you that it is actually a list, and with 5 whole things to talk about! Yup, so it'll be up tomorrow, hope you enjoy it.

Saturday, August 14, 2010

Sorry for the lack of posts but...

Since tomorrow is the day that I will be typing another post, I will probably give like a review or something on the Scott Pilgrim movie because I plan on seeing it tomorrow. And sorry again for the lack of posts... a lot of stuff happened... bleh... whatever...

Tuesday, August 10, 2010

Oh my gosh I have a blog!

Video Recomendation... Thing... Post... I don't know...

Ok so I can't really write a post right now for... reasons, but I thought it unfair to just not do a post at all so here are some videos to check out.

The trailer for the new .hack anime, .hack//Quantum came out the othere day so here it is:

A video that pretty much explains why I'm not getting Natal... or whatever they renamed it now:

And finally, anyone who knows who Shadyvox is, this video will be hilarious because it's a few minutes recorded from a live broadcast him and Xthedarkone did while drunk, if you don't know who Shadyvox is then your attention span will make you close this video before it even gets to 2 minutes and you'll go back to watching shiny colors move around on your TV set... I say that assuming of course that the people who would do that would not enjoy listening to and watching a drunk person act like an idiot:

(By the way, for those of you that were worrying he probly wasn't going to be ok being as drunk as he was, like I did, don't worry he's totally ok now.)

Disregard the previous post

There will be a post tomorrow, not a very good one but still there will be a post, just lettin you guys know...

Most likely no post tomorrow

I'm sorry, but like... personal reasons, I'm not going to really go into much depth about it but if you knew what it was you'd cut me some slack... Anyway, there is still kind of a chance I'll do a post but I'm not sure...

Friday, August 6, 2010

Sorry...

Sorry about skipping the last post and that there will be no post tomorrow... All I can say is personal reasons... and school... sorry...

Random Post!

Ok, I'm starting to get sick, and I'm about to be very busy this week, in fact let me give you a heads up that I MIGHT have to skip my next post, but that's just a maybe. Anyway, let's just start with some topics!

Jhonen Vasquez:
Ok, so like, ever since Invader Zim started playing on Nicktoons again for the Summer I've been getting re-interested in Jhonen Vasquez related stuff again, and apparently I found out like a few days that the rest of the world has pretty much been doing the same, or at least that's what I've heard... I honestly have no idea. Anyway, I picked up the Director's Cut of Johnny the Homocidal Maniac (Jhonen's first comic if I'm not mistaken) at my local Barnes and Noble today and the lady stopped me before I even finished the name of the title and said they most likely didn't carry anything by Jhonen Vasquez but sure enough she checked and what do ya know, it was supposed to be in the section I checked a million times already, but somehow when she checked it she found it in less then a minute. Anyway, I brought it back home and at first thought it was a little funny in a messed up way, I continued to read and it was just interesting, then I came across a part that was just downright creepy and so I stopped reading... but a part of me just wants to pick that book up again right when I finish this post... Anyway, if you like the creepy and sometimes funny style of Jhonen Vasquez I totally recomend it, but if you scare easily I don't think it's for you...

Awesome Pokemon Hack Story:
*Warning, this is SORT OF a scary story*
Since I'm sick, have some cards to make on Yugiohcardmaker.net and have a few things to pack and some dinner to eat... so the rest of this random post won't include much of me writing or typing or whatever... so here is a link to an awesome story about a Pokemon Red hack: here.

A video recommendation... thing:

First off is the new FioriParty video:

New BarfQuestion video:

And that's it... sorry I was just really busy and normally I wouldn't have even posted at all but I would have felt really bad for skipping a post day again...

Bayonetta Short Review

EDIT:
Ok two things, one you actually do get swords later on in the game and stuff... and two you can PAUSE CUTSCENES so it gets an extra thumbs up from me just for that.

Well, I kept telling myself I'd get this game for free from Lockerz, but they kept raising prices, doing redemptions while I was at school, doing redemptions without telling me, and then, and here's the best one, taking most video games off the redemption prize list, so I quit Lockerz and saw this game on sale at Gamestop for $30 and got it. I gotta say, so far I actually kinda like it... I thought it was pretty cool that in the begining all of the staff members for the opening credits were on tombstones, but it was just hilarious when Hideki Kamiya's gravestone gets pissed on by one of the main characters... oh Kamiya... what a good sport. Anyway, if you didn't know, Hideki Kamiya is the director of many Capcom games we all remember (most of which were from good old Clover Studios), such titles would include Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and Resident Evil 2. Now you can see why people consider this game Devil May Cry's spiritual successor, and yeah in my opinion, it's good old Devil May Cry action, but this time your playing as a girl and there are no swords... but to be honest I constantly forget about the no swords thing. Oh, before I forget, this game probably could have been published by Capcom and developed by Clover Studios... if Capcom didn't close Clover Studios... so it's published by SEGA and developed by Platinum Games, which is basically a lot of the major people from Clover Studios forming their own gaming company, so essentially it'd be the same game even in an alternate universe where Clover was still there, but in that alternate universe those lucky bastards have the name "Capcom" on the game and not "SEGA". Anyway enough of my fanboyishnes... the game itself plays pretty much like the better Devil May Cry games (when I say this I mean that 1 and 3 in my opinion were better then 2 and 4, but it's only my opinion, and I'm definatly not saying I dislike 4) except there is fanservice left and right, it's the super actiony kind that sometimes kinda makes you laugh, but sometimes it gets a litte to over the top, but so far where I am in the game it still doesn't have as much fanservice as the Rosario Vampire anime. The story is kind of that "the main character doesn't know about her past at all so you start off knowing less about the entire world of this game then she does" thing, and that kind of annoys me, but I'm hoping it'll eventually unfold and I won't be kept in the dark the whole game. The PS3 version of this game supposedly had a lot of glitches and really long loading times or something but I don't really know much about that since I have the 360 version. So in short, this game may be a bit on the fanservicey side, but if you like Devil May Cry and you have an Xbox 360 then this is one of those games you should probably check out.

Ok, for right now... I am back!

Yes that's right, I will most likely be getting back into the regular schedule for posts starting tomorrow, yup, there will be a post tomorrow. I will probably do my big "summarizing all the weekly jump issues I missed" post next weekend... if I even do it at all... Anyway, my hands were feelin good enough to play some Xbox 360 so why not wright some posts. Also, there may be a SLIGHT chance that I will be taking a weekend or two off every now and again, since I will not be doing Weekly Jump posts for a while... how long is a while you say? Well, probably til either October... or maybe November... heck if I make it as far as November I could just keep going and not do it til December... but I don't know.

Random Post of Randomness

Ok, my wrists are certainly getting better, I don't wanna promise to much... but I will most likely start to get back into the regular one post every other day sometime after Comic-Con, which by the way I will be going to on the 24th. I will most likely have a few videos from Comic-Con uploaded on like the 24th (put really late) or the 25th... put I won't make any guarintees. Ok so let's get this show on the road... just random topics is all this post will be... Oh right, I almost forgot, I just wanna thank anyone who actually stuck with me and my blog even with my lack of updates, however I'm pretty sure that I'm thanking nobody because I don't think I've had people visiting my blog for a LONG time.

1. Plans for future posts:
All I can say is that because of my lack of Weekly Jump posts... I will most likely pick a random day to do one HUGE Weekly Jump post summarizing every chapter from where I left off to the current chapter... but I don't know when I'll do that.

2. Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded trailer
Ok, so if you haven't seen the trailer for Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded trailer yet then you can see it here. This trailer actually surprised me, I mean, I wanted the game because it was a chance for me to actually play coded, since I don't think I can afford a Japanese cell phone with a Japanese cell phone plan... but now that I see it's mixing in like 3 or 4 different gameplay elements I am seriously crossing my fingers for localization. Of course, on the strange off chance it will be a Japan excluse I will still import it.

3. Bleach Heat the Soul 7 Roster
Apparently the number of characters in Heat the Soul 7 was leaked by a retailer known as Game Star, and it is apparently 84 characters. Ok, I know that when Eighting announces character lists for Heat the Soul, they count transfermations, but this wasn't announced by them so this might not count transformations. Of course the key words are MIGHT NOT. Read the full article here.

4. No More Heroes 2: Hopper Edition
Final topic for this post, ok, so not only is Japan finally getting No More Heroes 2, they get a shiny awesome special edition. This special edition encludes a movie entitled "No More Heroes 1.5", a Soundtrack, and uhh some sort of art book or somethin. Oh, and apparently if you pre-order it you get an... am... am I reading this right? Uhhh, apparently if you pre-order you get an "erotica comic"... Anyway, it'll retail in Japan for something around $100 if I'm not mistaken... I am pretty sure it will be a Japan exclusive, and if it is I will still most likely be getting it. Read more info on it here.

Anime Expo Twenty TEN!

EDIT: Videos added at bottom of post.

Ok, so in this blog post I'm basically gonna be talking about my day yesterday at Anime-Expo. Ok, first off, this doesn't mean I'm 100% officially back, I mean I certainly am doing better with my hands but I shouldn't even be typing right now... Anyway, since I really want to tell this story, I'm not gonna tell my experience in chronological order... Ok so at Anime-Expo, I actually got to meet Little Kuriboh, creator of Yu-Gi-Oh abridged, now, I didn't get this on camera but you seriously have to believe me when I tell you what I said to him when I met him at the Yu-Gi-Oh abridged booth, because I literally walked up to him and asked "can you please wear this mask while you sign my Yu-Gi-Oh card?" so I handed him a Scream mask (hoping he would say "Whazzupp?!?", sadly he didn't) and when he gave back my card he literally said "Here you go you magnificent bastard". What my friend asked him to do was really funny too, in fact if I can get him to give me his camera's SD card I could upload and explain what he asked LK to read. I was also going to go to the Vic Mignona autograph signing but that line was WAAAAAY to long, I did however go to the Kyle Hebert (best known as the narrator in DBZ) signing, my friend has a recording of him saying "next time, on Dragon Ball Z" and I got him to yell "Hadoken!" while he signed my copy of Street Fighter 4. There were no cool game demos that I was interested in playing this year, (in fact, I don't think Bandai Namco games even had a booth this year, they weren't even like a part of the Bandai booth, they just weren't there) but not to worry, I am going to San Diego Comic-Con and there might possibly be some cool demos there. I had a great time, bought plenty of Gashapon, even a replica wooden Sasuke sword, and Stafy 3 for the GBA at the Video Games New York booth, I'm not trying to advertise for them, but honestly I think that their prices are... well not exactly the best, but still pretty damn good, and if you compare them to the other import game booths from last year, their prices are dirt cheap, plus the people are actually kinda nice. And that is another thing about Anime-Expo, like every single person there was really nice, like every person I bumped into would have an apology twice as sincere as my own. I seriously can't wait to go again, and I hope to see some cool game demos next year as well.

Ok, here are the videos of Kyle Hebert and Little Kuriboh:

Where the hell have I been?!?...

... Is most likely the question you are all asking, all two of you... well I'm still actually in some pain from the carpel tunel, but I'm going to Anime-Expo on July 3rd and will most likely do a post like the day after or something about it, but until then, sorry I have to give my wrists a rest... I hope my very few readers understand this, and I hope to not lose all two of you because of this...

My favorite E3 surprises

Hey, it's been a while, I am out of school and I have hand brace... err casts... no... uhhh... hand things to help my carpel tunel so I guess I can type but trust me it is uncomfortable. So since E3 is goin on this post will just be my favorite things about this year's E3. This list is in no particular order... and it might be kind of short because typing like this is really freakin difficult.

1. Like everything at the Nintendo conference
I was glad to not only see more info on the new Zelda game, but also those new Kirby and Donkey Kong Country games were a nice treat. Not to mention the new Kid Icarus game (finally). I am not really into that whole 3D craze so the 3DS was nothing special to me... but, I hate to say it... I'm checkin the list of 3DS games that will come out in the future... and I want the games... I wish those games would just play not in 3D for my regular DS but I'm not sure if they do, so I MIGHT get a 3DS for the Starfox game, Kid Icarus game, Naruto game, Kingdom Hearts game, Resident Evil game, Sonic game, Super Monkey Ball game, Metal Gear Solid game, Paper Mario Game, and Shin Megami Tensei game... assuming of course that those games really will exist and Wikipedia is not just lying to me again.

2. New Twisted Metal game and Portal 2 on the PS3
Ok, I'm not gonna pretend that I am a huge Twisted Metal fan, I've only played one or two games in the series and that was a long time ago... but honestly the gameplay shown in the G4 E3 coverage looked pretty damn cool. Also, I think I recall hearing somewhere (I'm not sure if this is 100% accurate though) that Valve once said they were never going to make another game on the PS3 ever again, and then at the Sony Press Conference, there it was, Portal 2 for the PS3. I find this kind of funny, but will still most likely be buying it on either my PC or my 360.

What I wanted to see:
- A 3D kirby game:
I was really hoping for a Kirby 64 style Wii game, but I'll be honest, I saw the gameplay for Kirby's Epic Yarn... and it looks pretty damn cool... so at least we get Epic Yarn.

- More about Ape Escape PS3:
Seriously, I want to know more about this game so badly, and if it was shown at E3 then that would probably confirm that it would be coming to the states, but for now, it is still a "who knows?"... good thing the PS3 is region free...

What I didn't want to see:
- Them renaming Natal:
Yeah, I liked Natal better then... what is it now, Kinect? I don't know why but Natal just sounded cooler, so I'm still gonna call it Natal...

- 3D stuff:
Like I said, I'm not to crazy about the whole 3D craze, and that Sony Conference was full of it...

Yeah sorry, I have finals coming up, and my carpel tunel, and that stupid project are making it impossible to post... so yeah I'm guessing no posts at all til school is over, or I might be able to have a post ready for Tuesday... but I don't know... sorry... but trust me I will take a lot less days off during summer...

Weekly Jump Post (finally)

Yeah so I can once again read weekly jump so I left off on Naruto Chapter 492 and Bleach chapter 402, so let's get this show on the road.

Naruto Chapter 493

Current Fight: Naruto Vs Evil Naruto

- Ok so we left off as Naruto did that meditation thing under the waterfall and is now talking to like an evil version of himself.

- The evil him says like he is the REAL Naruto or something... You all know how the cliche goes...

- So while Naruto fights his evil counterpart, Killer Bee is off sumo wrestling giant bears like a real man...

- Apparently what Naruto said before when he greeted Killer Bee offended him so he doesn't want anything to do with Naruto.

- So in the battle, Naruto tries to use shadow clone jutsu to outnumber his evil counterpart... but OBVIOUSLY he can use it too...

- Naruto wakes up because he realizes he can't win.

- That cloud village ninja tells Naruto about Killer Bee's past...

- So like he had the typical looked down upon by others Jinchuriki life style, except he was proud of being a Jinchuriki.

- Naruto asks the guide guy to ask Bee about how to beat the evil counterpart but he says he "isn't worthy".

- The guide says he "isn't worthy" because he once tried to kill Bee, and before he could tell the story the chapter ends.

Bleach Chapter 402

Current Fight: Everyone still alive Vs Aizen

- So we left off as Kisuke arrived...

- Aizen is starting to look really freaky with the whole Hogyoku fusion thing, or uhh... Aizen says it isn't a fusion, he is "subdueing" the Hogyoku... or something...

- Aizen attacks Kisuke but it was just one of his inflatable gigais used back when he fought Yammy.

- Kisuke uses that constriction light thing... on Aizen...

- Kisuke uses a bunch of different Kido...

- Kisuke says a lot of really complicated encantations... or whatever their called...

- When it seems like Aizen has been obliterated into nothingness... OF COURSE he appears right behind Kisuke, even uglier thanks to the Hogyoku...

- Aizen talks on for like a whole page about how powerful he thinks he is...

- The chapter ends as Kisuke seals Aizen's reitsu in a way that will make him get severly damaged by his OWN reitsu.

Cannon Spike Short Review

Ok, so sorry about skipping a post there, I totally thought I was going to be home early enough to still type it up but I came home really late and decided not to even turn on my computer for the entire day after that... for uhh... reasons, but hey now I'm back so let's get this back on track. Ok, so I got Cannon Spike and it is FREAKIN AWESOME, like I seriously want an arcade cabinet of this game now, like if I were to get rich the top 3 arcade cabinets (in no particular order) I would want would be a Cannon Spike arcade cabinet, a Darkstalkers arcade cabinet, and a Gauntlet arcade cabinet... Ahh... I can only dream... Anyway, as I was saying, this game is so freakin fun, there are 7 characters to choose from (two of which are "hidden") and those characters are, Arthur (from Ghosts 'n Goblins), Cammy (from Street Fighter), Charlie (from Street Fighter), Shiba Shintaro (from Three Wonders, he is my personal favorite character), Simone (a character made specifically for the game), and the two "hidden" characters (and I use hidden in quotation marks because the manual actually tells you how to pick them on the character selection screen), Baby Bonnie Hood (or Bulleta if your from Japan, from Darkstalkers), and Mega Man (obviously from the Mega Man series). And for an arcade style shoot em' up I personally think that's a pretty good amount of characters. The game is two players, and it's really fun to play with two people, but say if that second person REALLY sucks, then you'll have your 3 credits sucked away faster then you can even pass more then 2 levels, unless you're playing on "baby" difficulty (the easiest difficulty in the game), in which case then maybe you'll make it far, but in my opinion I hate to start a game on the easiest difficulty. Some of the characters have different styles (I say some because I think it's Cammy and Charlie who are pretty alike) so some people will like certain types of characters like Arthur who is a super heavy type, and some people will like characters like Megaman who are faster and more lightweight. Every character also has their own unique special move, and for some reason a move used by pressing the Y button that does like way to much damage then it should (in my opinion but whatever, it's not super cheap since whenever you use the Y button moves you are super open to attacks from every direction). For some reason the stages are like randomly sorted each time, and I have yet to actually beat the game since I usually play on Normal (sometimes on Easy when i want to see how much further I can get) and with like 8 difficulties to choose from, and normal being like the middle difficulty, or maybe it's because I'm not the greatest at the game, it's a little hard to get past like halfway. Anyway, I really like shoot em' up games and I really like Capcom, so this game is just a perfect fit for my tastes, so if you like shoot em' ups and Capcom games, then this is your cup of tea. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have recently discovered the awesomeness of Sgt. Frog and have three more unread volumes of it, and not to mention the fact that I bought the .hack//4Koma manga... so... yeah... I'm off to continue reading.

Higurashi When They Cry Original PC Game First Impression/Short Review

Ok, so this game is basically just a sound novel... like a book with music... well it has pictures... sort of... so anyway, it may be a little difficult to review, and I skipped school today since I'm feeling sick so I don't know how long I can keep up this typing since I really just want to rest, but I feel bad for taking so many days off earlier. Well, where do I start? Hmmm... I got the official English translation of the game from a company called mangagamer, which is a company that you would probably only know if you are a pervert or a Higurashi fan since a lot of the PC games they translate are apparently... uhh... not for kids... luckily though, they now have an all ages section AND an adult section, instead of having it all in one website like it used to be, which is way better because even though the website still looks suspicious, my parents will at least... I hope, not think I'm buying anything adult... Which would suck, and just to clarify Higurashi is not adult but I wouldn't say it's exactly... "all ages", there is kind of a conversation between Keiichi and Mion in the beginning that is sort of... suggestive, and it is like a MURDER mystery game so yeah. Anyway, some of the music had to be replaced, I'm not sure how much and I did hear a few songs that got taken out and from what I heard of both versions the new ones are certainly not bad at all. Also, there was some stuff in the games that were taken out of the anime, and I noticed a lot of them but most of them where little conversations that seemed like they were what would regularly be cut, but I hear they cut a few important things but I'm not sure yet. The game so far is hilarious and downright awesome, and when my carpel tunel acts up (possibly from typing these posts) and I can't play Galaxy 2 without being in constant pain, I just play Higurashi because all you need to do is click... Anyway sorry if this was short... or... was it short? I don't know, but I'm gonna go back to taking a nap, then maybe I'll play Cannon Spike, which yes actually came in on Tuesday, and I ordered it on Sunday... Awesome right? Anyway, like I said... feelin sick... gonna end the post here...

My thoughts on Dragon Ball Z Kai

Ok so Dragon Ball Z Kai aired in America on Monday so let me just give you my impression on the dub, and Kai itself since I hadn't even watched it until it premiered on Monday. I don't mean I haven't seen Dragon Ball Z because I grew up watching DBZ and original Dragon Ball, I just haven't seen Kai before. So like the first thing I noticed was that the intro was in English, which certainly isn't a bad thing, in fact I like it having an English lyric version since... I don't know it feels more like the original Dragon Ball, but right after I heard the intro for a few seconds I thought... "wait... is that Vic Mignogna singing?" and I don't even know if it was I mean I could be wrong, but if it is... then the intro just got like 10 times cooler. Anyway, I think a few people MIGHT have gotten voice actor changes but I'm not totally sure if those characters showed in the first two episodes, however I think that since Christopher Sabat played like half the cast of DBZ most characters getting new voice actors are those who were played by him, but it's ok because I mean he is still playing Piccolo, but I don't know if he is gonna still play Yamcha, Shenron, Kami, Zarbon, Burter, Recoome, or Mr. Popo. Anyway, I thought it was really good and I can't exactly compare it to the original since it has been AGES since I saw the original. However, I can say that those old fashioned "parodied to much super dramatic reaction shots while the really shiny background is constantly moving" things really brought back memories as I had practically forgot that they really were used, and used like that in older anime. Anyway I am writing this post before the other two new episodes air on Tuesday so I have yet to see those... so I guess... oh wait, I almost forgot, a lot of people might bitch about this, but honestly I don't mind that much I actually found it kinda funny, there is a scene in the first episode where Master Roshi is drinking beer, but in this version, he was drinking milk, I totally thought they were just gonna make it orange juice or water, but milk was just funny. There was an edit that kinda bugged me though, they took out Bardock's scar... which is kinda weird... you know since Avatar was RIGHT after Kai and Zuko (a character from Avatar for those who don't know) has a huge freakin burn mark on his face, but whatever I'm just glad Kai is on TV so I'm gonna be grateful and not bitch about every little edit. Well, sorry if this post was kinda short, thankfully I have an idea or two for future posts, and after tomorrow I will be able to read weekly jump chapters again so yeah, like I said sorry if this was kinda short.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 First Impressions

Ok, I seriously have no idea how I pryed myself off of my bed from playing this game to go on my computer and type this post. But somehow I did and here I am, well Galaxy 2 came out today... or yesterday since these posts come out the day after I write em, well anyway it came out and to me at least it seems like everybody was to busy playing their PS3s or 360s and whatnot to even notice this badass game even exists. And even though my friends might be playing their Left for Dead, Modern Warfare, or in my brother's case Red Dead Redemption, I still show some love to the good ol' turtle killing, mushroom eating, goomba stomping red hatted plumber. So as you can obviously tell I love the game, and with new additions like Yoshi, a few new power ups, and that... drill... thing... how can you not love it? Anyway, I hadn't realised until I read it in a gaming magazine (either Game Informer or Nintendo Power or something like that) that you weren't able to ride on Yoshi for like any of the 3D platforming Mario games besides Sunshine, but as I previously mentioned that changes now that you can ride on Yoshi in Galaxy 2. Oh, and the Yoshi parts are just freakin awesome they are really fun. I almost forgot to mention how the game starts you out, which is pretty interesting, for like the first bit of gameplay you're on a 2D plane as you learn the basic controls, which is kinda cool. The core gameplay is the same as the first Galaxy game, so if you played the first one, then the constant reminder in like every other level of how to spin will only get in your way. I really don't know what else to say and to be honest I really just want to get back to playing it right now so, sorry if this post was kinda short, but the game is awesome and yeah I gotta get back to it.

My Weekend Wishlist... Or whatever

I am tired, want to relax and out of ideas, and cannot read the weekly jump til like Monday, so this post is probably gonna be pretty short. Ok so basically I am just gonna talk about the three... no wait, four games I will be getting on Sunday. Sorry but no pictures... I may add them in later... but that's not a promise.

Ok, so first off is the only game on this list that I will actually be buying at the store, and that of course is Super Mario Galaxy 2. Alright, I fondly remember staying up for at least a day and half doing nothing but playing Super Mario Galaxy, only stopping to eat and use the bathroom, when the game first came out. However I later thought during one of my vacations, "hmmm, was the game really THAT good?" and decided to replay it and should have been ashamed of myself to even consider it not being as amazing as I remembered. So obviously that means I am super psyched for Galaxy 2, especially with games like Super Mario 64 practically defining my childhood (well, that and Ape Escape and Digimon, but whatever). So yeah I seriously can't wait for it to come out.

The second game is something that I might set aside an hour or two to play on Sunday if I can even get myself to somehow stop playing Galaxy 2 at all, and it is the English (Mangagamer) version of the original Higurashi game, well the first 4 arcs in one game that is. Since I had all of my questions about the game answered (quite quickly) on the Mangagamer forums I am now 100% sure that I will get the game now. I really don't know what to say at all about the game... uhhh, well for those of you who don't know, it is the sound novel (sound novel is what it's called right?) that the famous Higurashi anime and manga are based on, so the games are Higurashi in their original form, that's pretty much why I want to get them, especially since people say that the anime and manga took out a lot of important stuff out for some reason. Uh, I guess that's it... on to the next game then I suppose.

The third game I will most likely be getting is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for the good ol' Dreamcast. I am buying this game for several reasons, 1: because I need a good fighting game for my Dreamcast since I have like no fighting games on that console at all and I simply cannot afford to buy Marvel Vs Capcom 2 since I'm not filthy rich and 2: I have been curious about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure games for quite the long time and I have been always saying "oh yeah I'll get one later" but screw that I have the freakin money so I wanna get it NOW. I seriously have yet to play a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure game and I feel bad, plus I totally just wanna learn every single combo possible with Dio and pwn my friends with my... you know what attack...

The fourth and final game is one my friend seems to remember fondly as one of his favorite games of all time, Cannon Spike. After he told me how awesome the game was and that you can play as B.B. Hood, a Darkstalkers character, I just saw like one gameplay video and I was SOLD! But, whenever I set aside the money to try and win a bid on the game I always lost, so since I am tired of losing bids on this game time and time again, I'm just gonna get a buy it now... I really hope there are still copies by Sunday... Anyway, for those of you who have no clue what Cannon Spike is, well it's like a shoot em' up by Capcom for the Dreamcast and is quite the rare game. Since I am a big fan of both Capcom and shoot em' up games... well you can tell where I am going with this.

I suppose this post wasn't... THAT short... but if you think it was then uhh... sorry, I already said why it was so short at the beginning of the post so yeah...

Naruto Arena Tips and My Current Obsession

Running out of ideas sucks... so, I just decided for today's post to give you two of my preferred teams on Naruto Arena (an online game... SORT OF like a card game I suppose, you can find it here on this website) as well as a few Naruto-Arena tips and a link to a creepy yet awesome Japanese song I seriously can't stop listening to. Ok so first let me give you the team I use, and yes both teams I will suggest are starter characters:
Team 1:
Kankuro
Hinata
Obito
Strategy:
Ok, so this team might not be like Hokage level awesome, but I'm pretty good with them. I usually rely a lot on chip type balancing, meaning that you don't want characters like young Kakashi on your team while you have Hinata for two major reasons, 1: young Kakashi uses the same chakra chips as Hinata for one of his attacks (or possibly two if I'm not mistaken) and so you will most likely just push one character aside for the whole match and 2: Hinata already uses two chakra chips for one of her attacks, and Kankuro uses 3 for his really powerful attack, so your third character in this team would need to have at least one attack that would use only 1 chakra chip to do extra little damage along the way, which thankfully Obito has. Anyway, the strategy with this team is that if you hopefully don't go first, and you get... I think it was a bloodline chip, or something, you prepare Kankuro, use Hinata's Byakugan, and either use Obito's fire attack (Gokakyu no Jutsu right? or am I misspelling it?) or if you can use his Sharingan. Then you pretty much just rely on affliction damage, and I think one of Hinata's attacks even steals chakra but I can't recall. But like I said this team isn't amazing and in fact the next team I will be telling you about was the team my friend used to totally kick this team's ass the other day.

Team 2:
Shikamaru
Neji
Choji
Strategy:
Ok this strategy is gonna be a lot shorter then what I wrote about the first team, because the way this team works is simple, Shikamaru stuns, Neji steals chakra, and Choji is there for nothing but brute strength. And the thing about it is, well people seem to underappreciate Shikamaru and fear Choji, as well as see him as a vulnerable target, just so long as you use that first turn to take an Akimichi pill or whatever they are called, so while they fire all they have at Choji (like I did... oh stupid, stupid me...) Neji is stealing chakra and Shikamaru is stunning, so then when they are stunned and out of chakra, BAM! hit em' with all you got using Choji.

Ok so like I said at the beginning, there is this song I just can't stop listening to and I wanted to share it with you all, I actually wanted to embed the video into my post but either my computer is acting up or youtube is acting up so I can just link you to it. But to be fair, it is a little creepy... and gruesome... not that much but still... so maybe I don't really want to embed it, so I warned you, I mean it is called Alice of Human Sacrifice... so... yeah if you're still interested then click here, but if you get nightmares then don't blame me because I warned you.

Wonderswan Color First Impressions/Short Review (FINALLY)

Ok, after waiting a crap ton of time for my Wonderswan and keeping it a bit of a secret here, it is finally in and the secret is out. For those of you who don't know what a Wonderswan is, it was basically Bandai's response to the Gameboy. I'm guessing that since Bandai owned a lot (yes, I realise that up until today I have been using a lot as one word and I just now caught my mistake... so shut up...) of famous anime at the time, or at least I'm pretty sure they did, then maybe they thought they would have a broader appeal in Japan alone what with anime not being as popular in America yet, which could be why they only released it in Japan but that is just my guess. Anyway, since it is a Bandai system there are plenty of licenced anime games for it, however, only one of the games I bought with it was licenced. Since I wanted to do a little review of the system I figured that if I wanted to buy two games with it, I would get a color game and a black & white game and I wanted to get a licenced anime game and just a regular game, so the two games I got were Klonoa: Moonlight Museum (probably the main reason I wanted a Wonderswan in the first place) and One Piece: Swan Colosseum (this is the color game). And so far, I actually like both, but if I had to choose right now one to play more of, I would say Klonoa, not because the One Piece game is bad, certainly not that, it's just that I haven't gotten used to the controls and whatnot yet so I'm sure it'll get addicting once I get the hang of it, but until then, Moonlight Museum is so far just like the first gameboy game so I really like, but we'll see how challenging those puzzles get later on in the game. Oh, also I scored this system and these games for pretty cheap, I got em on eBay from... hmmm... what was his name? I think it was game agora... or maybe there was an underscore between the words (like this game_agora) or something, I don't remember. Ok now let's get to the interface... or whatever you call it of the system, or just basically the system itself... whatever let's just get down to it, so it is A LOT smaller then I thought it would be, I mean for some reason I was expecting it to be the size of my Gamegear, but it's like the size of a Gameboy Advance. Oh and speaking of Gamegear, it has that weird screen lighting problem the Gamegear had but to a lesser extent with Klonoa, I guess that's because it is just a regular Wonderswan game. Also, the buttons are a bit weird, like it has the standard b first, then a like an NES controller, but instead of a d pad with just like arrows for buttons or whatever, the d-pad buttons are x buttons, like up is x1 and down is x3, then on top of that d-pad is another one with y buttons, where up on that one is y1 and down is y3, however I am guessing that with most games you use the x d-pad since so far the two games I played used them as the d-pad. Oh and it only runs on one AA battery, I don't know how fast the batteries get drained but it only runs on one of em so that is pretty convenient. I don't know what else to say... Hmmm... I guess that's it, and so far I am loving my Wonderswan, hopefully you can begin to look forward to some Wonderswan game reviews by me in the future. Oh snap, before I end this post, I just started a level of Klonoa where the screen turns sideways and you use the x d-pad as regular controls and the y d-pad as, well, a d-pad... so forget what I said about not using the y buttons I suppose.

Monster Hunter Tri Online First Impression

Ok, so I was gonna type up this post yesterday after all of my friends left... but oh big surprise there was a freakin power outage... So yeah sorry about today's post being late and all. Sorry if this post is a little short, the uhhh... thing I was planning on doing my post about came in the mail but they couldn't just leave it at my doorstep apparently so I have to pick it up at the post office since I wasn't home when it arrived and I had no other post ideas besides this. Anyway, I tried Monster Hunter Tri's online mode the other day, and allow me to tell you what I thought of it, or rather just my experience for my very first online playthrough. Well, it started off with a really long like 10 minute unskippable (or at least I'm pretty sure it was unskippable) cutscene showing off how apparently amazing the city is, then you pick a server... or wait... I think you pick a server first... well, it doesn't matter, since it was my first time online, I just picked a newbie server and decided to join a party that said "all welcome". The first thing I realised, well either due to my bad luck or maybe just the fact that it was a newbie server and the party I joined was just an "all welcome" party, was that I was the only one with a Wii Speak Mic... I was just like "am I the only one with a mic? Or do u guys just have em unplugged?" and I got no response so I said something like "I know you don't have mics plugged in but dammit I'm sure at least one of you can type a message" and still no response, so I just looked around the city, no teammates in sight and then I went to the "tavern" and started a quest by myself. I picked a level 1 mission where all you had to do was kill Jaggi or something but I realised that it took like 4 times the regular shots (yes I use a bowgun now if I never mentioned that before) to kill them and at first I didn't know why, but I think I actually know now... every enemy is probably alot stronger online since you are supposed to be fighting them with four players... so yeah going solo was a bad idea sort of... Oh also, I could have sworn that Tri was a pay to play game where it would cost you 500 Wii points (which is basically $5) for a month, but it didn't ask me to pay for anything so... yeah... maybe it's just like free for the first month or something... I don't know, but either way I still have that 500 Wii points card for pre-ordering the game so I'm set either way. Anyway, like I said sorry this post was a bit shorter then you guys are used to but I am seriously running out of ideas here.

Little Kuriboh Video Time!

I am barely awake right now and am super tired from testing but I took all of last week off so this is better then nothing... r... right? So here are some new videos from Little Kuriboh, two of which are music videos that I have been watching excessively.

First off is a charity video where LK will be auctioning off some Yu-Gi-Oh cards, as well as signing them himself for whoever wins and he will also donate the money he got from bidding the cards. The auction ends the day this post is uhhh... posted or whatever, but it ends at like 10pm pacific time if I am not mistaken...

The next is a rap battle between Yugi and Jaden, in my opinion regular Yugi's rap kinda sucked... but Yami's was freakin awesome.

I don't know what to comment about this one, it is awesome though, at least in my opinion it's pretty awesome.

Random Recommendation Post!

Ok I'm gonna be honest, I had plans to talk about something import related but... It hasn't come in the mail yet and I want to keep it a little secret sort of so... I am just gonna be recommending a game I have been playing lately when I haven't been studying and dealing with RL... things... Ok so, out of all of the Ape Escape games, Ape Escape 2 was the one I played the least since I only used to rent it and up until some time last year I never officially owned it, so I remembered very little of it. I jumped into the game with virtually no memories of it and it was alot more different then I thought it was... It is certainly not bad at all, but out of the Ape Escape "Trilogy" (well it could be a quadrilogy... or whatever you would call it if you count Million Monkeys... then there is also Big Mission... but let's just not count that one right now either) it is certainly the odd one out. Why, you ask... well, that's sort of a tough one to answer... Hmmm... Well, first of all the look of the game... or more important the look of the monkeys is just a bit... strange... I don't know maybe it's just me. Also, the last few gadgets just kinda seemed like... I don't know... like they didn't belong in Ape Escape, I mean a water canon and a big magnet... like... really? However, I will admit that magnet gadget made the Specter stage alot funner. I also really liked the bosses in this game, even though I found some of them a bit to easy (for example: I beat the Pink Monkey battle in practically record time since she was so damn easy) but I did enjoy the Goliath battle, reminded me of Good old Ape Escape 1. I have yet to fight the real final boss since I stopped the game after Specter's Moon Base so I have no comment on that boss, but the Red Monkey battle was pretty awesome, I mean he has an attack where he throws a dinosaur at you, yes you heard me right, he literally picks up a dinosaur and SLAMS IT BACK TO THE GROUND, so that should be a pretty big selling point since it was so badass. This sort of turned into a short review of Ape Escape 2 didn't it? Well, sorry if this was sort of small for my first post after like a week, but I am so tired right now and I need to be getting proper sleep or whatever for testing and whatnot, so sorry... If I can think of a good list idea I might post a list this week, but I can't read this week's Weekly Jump since I am getting an actual copy of it from my dad's friend in Japan, and this time I am more sure that he will get it for me then last time...

Last Week in Weekly Jump

Ok I am a week behind, and how appropriate since there is no Weekly Jump this week, so let's get this outta the way.

Naruto Chapter 492

Current Fight: None

- Ok so we left off as Naruto met Killer Bee on the boat ride over to the island.

- Naruto greets him with a "hey, yo" as Killer Bee checks his "Rhyme Book" and we see that "hey, yo" has been crossed off.

- Killer Bee sings a bit of "Enka Rap" which is Enka singing (I'm gonna be honest I do not know what Enka singing is) with a Rap beat, I only brought this up because I found it interesting and hope to actually know what it sounds like when the anime gets this far... or wait... are we at the Killer Bee part in the anime yet? Oh well...

- They are greeted by an angry giant gorilla (of course named "King-chan"... might I remind you that Nintendo got sued for Donkey Kong before... well, then again Universal lost that case horribly so maybe they learned their lesson) which Killer Bee simply calms down by saying the leaf ninja are with him.

- Apparently the island is where Killer Bee learned to control his Biju and he actually also tamed all of the animals on the whole damn island as well.

- Naruto asks Killer Bee to train him in controlling the Kyubi, but he does not like Naruto's "attitude" so Naruto tries to great him with an Enka Rap and it was actually pretty funny... Killer Bee also liked it.

- They bump fists and Killer Bee asks Naruto to give him a beat, he utterly fails at that and pisses off Killer Bee so he tries the Harem Jutsu as a last resort, and Bee just shuts the door on him...

- Naruto asks one of the Kumogakure ninjas to help him find out the secret of controlling Biju and he decides to help Naruto out after hearing that he bumped fists with Bee.

- He takes Naruto to a waterfall and tells him to sit in this area near the falls with no water in it and close his eyes.

- The chapter ends when he opens his eyes he is confronted with an evil version of himself [insert Evil Dead reference here].

Bleach Chapter 401

Current Fight: Ichigo Vs Gin and Isshin Vs Aizen

- I previously read these chapters earlier in the day... And I am gonna be honest, this is gonna be a bitch to explain... Or maybe it will be.

- Ok so Aizen says he is on his last rope as a Shinigami but the Hogyoku is starting to... uhhh understand his will or something like that...

- He says that the Hogyoku has a consciousness and that Kisuke was wrong about what the Hogyoku's purpose was.

- Aizen says that it's true power is to make real what is in the hearts of those around it, which explains why Ichigo got so much of Rukia's power (she was still not over Kaien's death or something) and why Chad and Orihime got their powers.

- Aizen explains that the reason Kisuke thought the Hogyoku was for controlling the boundary between hollows and soul reapers was because that was what he wanted it to do in his heart.

- Aizen also says that hollowfying the Vaizords was just a test to see the Hogyoku's limits, and since they are Vaizords and not just simply Soul Reapers (sorry if you prefer Shinigami but I did see the dub first... so yeah...) he realized it had it's limits.

- Aizen and Isshin's talk is interrupted by Gin's Bankai crashing into the building.

- Just as the Hogyoku is like... fusing with Aizen or something, Kisuke shows up and blasts right through Aizen... Oh and that is where the chapter ends.

RANDOM POST!

Well, today I had to stay home because I'm feelin quite under the weather, but I am feeling well enough to post so here we go. Oh right, I forgot to explain, I mean if the title of this post wasn't descriptive enough, this is just random updates and pieces of info and other stuff in one post since I am totally out of ideas for new posts and lists and all that good stuff.

Ok so first off is the boxart for two new Naruto Games, Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and Kizuna Drive:

Kizuna Drive

Storm 2

Hmmm... that Storm 2 one probably got cut off... Ok if it did then just view the whole picture here. Since this is just a random post I might as well just give my opinion on those two games so far, as of now I will be getting Kizuna Drive but most likely not import it, unless of course it is a Japan exclusive and it is actually good. And about Storm 2... I don't know, I will probably get it and if I do I will get it on the PS3, but I mean... It's just... the first Storm game felt like they put no care into it at all, and since I would rather not explain EVERY reason I didn't like Storm then let me just tell you a little experiment me and my friend did, we gave his little 3 or 4 year old brother the controller and he was able to beat us with practically a perfect by just pushing one button over and over again, he literally didn't even know how to play and we tried to fight back as best as we could but we lost every time. So if they actually work on Storm 2 instead of sit on their asses and copy what the other Naruto games are doing, then make is worse and say that they've worked on it for years then I will get Storm 2, but if it's just like the first game then I'll either skip on it, or wait til I can get a used copy dirt cheap.

Ok, one other little random thing is that I used that Sony Bluetooth while playing MAG the other day and I liked it. I started to understand what people meant by uncomfortable, but I still think it isn't THAT bad. I don't really know what else to say, I feel like I got my money's worth and whatnot.

Uhhh... Let's see... I guess the final piece of info I have is that the Heat the Soul 7 Website was... Kind of updated... it just basically replaced the regular pictures on the home page with pictures involving Ichigo's new hollow form and Ulquiorra's Ressurection. You can view it here.

My Favorite Gaming "Headsets"

This is in no particular order, I'm just sort of gonna talk about headsets in this post, well one of them isn't actually a headset... but you'll see what I mean by that later.

Ok so the first headset I would like to talk about is the good old wired Xbox 360 headset. This is one of my favorites because it is wired but it plugs into the controller, and since damn near every game on the 360 uses the controller (I'm saying near every game because of that Tom Clancy game that used voice commands and if that doesn't count then soon enough I can just say Natal) and the controller is wireless so it really works out. The sound quality is not AMAZINGLY AWESOME but it isn't bad in any way, I can often understand other people and they can often understand me, it is also quite user friendly and it comes with most Xbox 360 bundles if I'm not mistaken.

The next one I would like to talk about is the Official Sony Bluetooth Headset for the PS3 which I got just recently. I am gonna be honest I haven't used it yet for gaming, but I do know that the sound quality is good with my phone, which it worked with, and it charged pretty fast for a bluetooth with supposedly 8 hours of charge, if you are wondering how long exactly it takes to charge, it's about 2 hours. It was incredibly easy to sync up with my PS3 and my phone, but let me address a little issue most people have with this headset... People often complain about it being to uncomfortable in their ears, well I will admit it isn't exactly comfortable but it is nowhere near as bad as people say it is, at least for me, I mean I am a teenager with average sized ears and it really doesn't bother me that much. I had even heard a few reviews that said it was almost like the headset wasn't made for the human ear and that they couldn't stand having it in their ear for longer then 20 minutes before they had to stop playing and take a break. Then again, it could just be me, I mean it could be just fine for me but terrible for somebody else. About the design of the headset, well, the little tab you pull out for connecting it directly to your PS3, for like syncing it up the easy way and whatnot is quite difficult to put back in place. Also, there is a nice little mute mic button on the headset, and not to mention little volume buttons on the side, so it is actually pretty cool.

This is what I meant about not being a headset, and like my PS3 Bluetooth I have not used this in actual gameplay but I plan to when I finally play Monster Hunter Tri online for the first time. I would mainly like to talk about this because, like most of the peripherals Nintendo makes, the Wii Speak is very interesting and new. Basically it is a mic that picks up noise from pretty much just in the room, so instead of speaking directly into it or wearing it as a headset, you just sit sort of near it and talk while you are playing. I find this a LITTLE bit inconvenient because with a headset I could still watch TV and stuff while I play the game, as long as it isn't to loud, but with the Wii Speak I can't have any noise going on at all, I mean I can't even have my air conditioner on. But on the bright side, it does come with a little thing to attach it to your Sensor Bar, which is great for me, but if you have the Sensor Bar on the bottom of your TV it is a problem since the Wii Speak goes on the top of the TV, or like it's supposed to. Luckily the Wii Speak comes with like extra little things to stick it to your Sensor Bar or to your TV. I only know of two games so far that support the Wii Speak and those are Animal Crossing City Folk and Monster Hunter Tri, but I have yet to play Monster Hunter Tri online and everybody I played with on City Folk either didn't have one or just felt like not using it. Oh and before I end this post I forgot to mention, the Wii Speak is actually kind of cool when you have other people over because they can talk into the mic as well with ease.

This Week... No wait... Last Week in Weekly Jump... Kinda...

Ok so those of you who actually read these posts know that last week I only read Naruto, and since I don't feel like explaining this week I'm just gonna read last week's Bleach... I am still doing projects today so I don't have alot of time to spare, I was going to do something else in this post but I seriously couldn't come up with anything at all, sorry.

Bleach Chapter 400

Current Fights: Ichigo Vs Gin and Isshin Vs Aizen

- As the chapter begins we cut to a barely conscious Rangiku as she sees Gin, I hope we don't get anymore flashbacks about Rangiku and Gin unless they go more in depth then the others.

- Gin calls Ichigo scary for some reason, I mean has he ever looked in a mirror when his eyes are open? He is scary as hell whenever he opens them.

- Gin's sword retracted (I see that smirk on your face, stop thinking dirty) without Ichigo noticing, and then Gin says that Ichigo like stopped it himself or something... I feel like I missed something.

- Ichigo is assuming Gin is trying to trick him and that he has only retracted his sword and not disengaged his Bankai so if Gin just points the tip of his sword (I said STOP thinking dirty) at Ichigo then he can pretty much skewer him.

- Gin does just that, but only cuts his shoulder.

- Wow, Gin is alot more strategic than I thought, he told Ichigo all of that stuff about his Bankai just so that it would make Ichigo not question the speed of how it can contract and retract.

- Gin tells Ichigo how fast his Zanpakutou is by clapping once as fast as he could, and saying it's 500 times that... This speed stuff will be better explained in the anime... which by the way I'm pretty sure is finally out of filler, yay!

- The chapter ends as we cut back to the Aizen Vs Isshin battle, and Aizen says he will soon like fuse with the Hogyoku or something.

Like I said, I wish I could put more in this post... but I have to get back to my Book report.

Monster Hunter Tri First Impressions

Ok so I have 3 projects to finish over this weekend and was planning on not even posting today, but since I took a break recently I figured that wouldn't be very fair. However, that does mean that this post might be a little short and I apologize in advance for that.

Alright, I got Monster Hunter Tri on release date and I even pre-ordered it, I also bought a Classic Controller Pro just for this game, I was really hyped up for it and... it was just as awesome as I thought it would be. With this being my first Monster Hunter game, I honestly didn't know what to expect, but I was practically blown away by the game's awesomeness. Ok so maybe the fishing quest (or possibly quests later on) was quite annoying and made me just give up the quest, but the rest of the game was just badass. I have yet to play the game online or even play offline co-op so I don't know if the offline or online co-op is any good, but I'm assuming it must be if people are actually willing to pay $5 a month for it. I found the bug catching a bit annoying and I feel like (since I have yet to catch a single bug) I am doing something wrong. Believe it or not, I think the swimming mechanics are actually... good... wow, did I just say a game had GOOD swimming mechanics? Damn, I guess I did, well yeah the swimming mechanics are good but not perfect, honestly though I'm not really gonna complain that much since at least they don't suck. But, it just kinda seems frustrating killing things underwater sometimes. Which reminds me of something people new to Monster Hunter complain about alot, the lack of a lock-on feature, which I don't get, I mean maybe it was a little frustrating at the beginning of the game, but you get used to it in practically no time and feel like a lock-on feature isn't really needed at all. Basically, this game is just awesome, a great reason to dust off that old white brick collecting dust in the corner of your room, it called the Nintendo Wii, I'll just let the two of you get reacquainted.

News Update... and Like Other Stuff...

I was going to do a first impressions Monster Hunter Tri post today, but there was a huge announcement I just found out about today, a few little things from dothackers, and I would also like to recommend a cool webiste I found out about a few weeks ago.

Alright if you seriously don't already know what the big announcement was, then here it is, an actual teaser trailer for Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and no it is not April 1st and you are not about to get rickroll'd, this is seriously the real freakin deal:

I seriously can't wait til this game comes out and this trailer makes me so happy that they are confirming Morrigan already. Ok, based on the trailer we have 6 confirmed characters and those characters are:
Capcom
- Ryu (obviously)
- Morrigan (freakin awesome)
- Chris Redfield (if we had Jill in the previous game, why not Chris?)

Marvel (honestly I pretty much knew all three of these characters would be in the game, I mean come on who didn't see this coming from a mile away?)
- Wolverine
- The Hulk
- Iron Man

Alright now on to the .hack news, for those of you lucky bastards who live in Japan, .hack//LiVE will be on May 9th. I seriously wish I could go so badly however, sadly I live halfway across the globe so I can't... also this is kind of old news by now, but teaser pictures for something called ".hack//3rd Season" and "4th era" have been scanned from the art books that came with the special edition of .hack//Link in Japan, you can view these scans here and here. As to what these exactly are I have no clue, but you can read these full articles and more at dothackers.net.

And before I end this post I would like to mention a website called fiverr, where you can either do things like photoshop a picture or even draw a picture for somebody and get $5 for it, or you could pay somebody $5 to do things like that, I must admit that it took me a while with my mediocre talents to get my first sale, but I did make $5 off of something that took no less than 30 minutes.

I know your sick and tired of hearing this but...

Ok, I have a crap ton of homework, not to mention two projects that I am given almost no time at all to do, I also have like the worst migraine in the world, so I am taking a break for today... or like tomorrow since I write these a day before I post them. I have had like 6 days since my last break that I felt like not posting but I just somehow pushed myself to post all of those days, but today... I seriously need a break, I am sure that I will not skip my next post day, especially with Monster Hunter Tri coming out, but now I have to get back to my homework... I am seriously sorry for not being able to post today, I feel awful but I need to focus on my school work.

Gaming News

I will most likely be busy on the day I am supposed to post, so this post will be pretty short, and I really apologize for that, but it is late, and I will have no time tomorrow, so let's just get started. Ok, first up, Serebii.net confirmed that the Pokepark Wii game will be seeing a release outside of Japan, and their source is riiight here. Also, Bleach Heat the Soul 7 was announced, and I am seriously happy about that. You can find the announcement scan right here, and as the scan shows Allon, or Ayon, whatever his name is, has been confirmed as a character, or maybe much like Zatch Bell: Mamodo Fury, he is only a boss character, however if he is actually playable then that means we might be seeing other characters that people said we wouldn't get because they were waaaay to damn big. Also, the scan also shows a feature recently added into the newest Ultimate Ninja game, and also a very popular feature in the PS2 Bleach fighting game series, Bleach Blade Battlers... 4 player battles. I seriously hope it is done well like in Blade Battlers and not just like an annoying feature tacked on to make me yell in frustration from unfair AI in a 1 on 3 battle. Also, there was a newer scan that can be viewed right here. The scan confirms Ulquiorra's Ressurecion form and Ichigo's new Hollow Ichigo form, two characters we knew would obviously be in the game. Like I said before, I am seriously sorry about this post being so short but I am having trouble staying awake and whatnot and I will probably be busy all day tomorrow, or well, it won't exactly be tommorrow since this will be like posted on Sunday or something, but whatever it doesn't matter. Oh, I almost forgot, you can also go to Serebii to check out all the info on the new next gen Pokemon games recently announced, Black and White versions, the main reason I didn't really bring it up is because it's kind of already old news as I am typing this on Friday... So on Sunday it'll be older news.

This Week in Weekly Jump (and other stuff...)

I am actually supposed to be studying right now, but I remembered I had to post today and I am damn well going to so let's get crackin.

Naruto Chapter 491

Current Fight: None

- The chapter begins as Naruto is uhh... swallowing the scroll toad alive...? Wait, what?

- I guess he needs to do that in order to control the Kyubi or something since it just happens and I guess Kishimoto just thought we were supposed to catch on or something.

- Naruto still needs to find the "octopus" as previously mentioned by the elder frog when he saw Naruto's future, I think it will be pretty cool when the last two Jinchuriki meet each other, it means we have a bit more time before Killer Bee dies...

- So Naruto goes back to the village to find that the villagers actually want his autograph and they even sort of look up to him instead of hating him like before.

- Ok so now we cut to another Kage meeting...

- All of the Kages took a vote and decided to hide the two remaining Jinchuriki instead of actually use their power in the war.

- They decide to hide them in an island in the Cloud village, as there are no Akatsuki members from that village.

- When Naruto reaches the island he finds that it is much like Konoha's Forest of Death...

- They get attacked by a giant squid on the boat, and the chapter ends as Killer Bee takes it out with ease.

Ok so I will actually be getting this week's issue of Weekly jump from my Dad's friend who is currently in Japan, so to enjoy it more I will not be reading this week's Bleach chapter until I see it in it's original form. So to not just cut you off and be a jerk, I will have a little short review... or more like kind of a first impression of Killer 7:

Ok, so I bought the Gamecube version of Killer 7 a long time ago and played up to the second save point because I didn't understand what the hell was going on and I think I bought something really time consuming like Okami on that same day. I saw LittleKuriboh's dub of a scene in Killer 7 and it reminded me that I actually own the game and wondered why the hell I stopped playing, as I had recalled, the game was badass but the story was a bit confusing, but that hasn't ever been a problem for me, I mean I loved Sin and Punishment. So I put it back into my beautiful cubed gaming machine, and thought again, "Why did I stop playing this game? It's freakin AWESOME". I made it a bit past the second save point this time, but once I got to the point I knew I had to do some backtracking, I was just waaaay to tired to go on playing, and once I finish studying after typing this post, I will continue to play the game, tedious backtracking or not. Oh and before I finish this post I would just like to say, that the Heaven Smile in Killer 7 probably scared me more then any monster in any video game ever... I mean... you shoot their legs off and you think they're just gonna lay there... but the bastards just start effin crawling faster then they were walking.

Games I Am Totally Psyched For...

Just like my previous post these are not in any order of preference, these are just the three games I plan on getting on release date in the next few months, or in the case of one of these games, weeks. Also, they all happen to be Wii games, I just noticed that after finishing the post. Also, sorry if this post is a bit short, I am trying to stay awake as best as I can right now, so at least I'm not taking ANOTHER day off, since I have taken way to many of those. Sorry for adding another little note here, but if my friend (who shall remain nameless) were to read this list, it would just flip him off in the face because of the fact that he constantly tells me the Wii was good for the Conduit and the Conduit alone.

1. Monster Hunter Tri (Wii)

Well I was about to tell you how psyched I was to get a Classic Controller Pro bundled with this game but that bundle apparently no longer exists... So just a heads up, since I planned on getting a classic controller pro, and now I have to technically pay $10 more to get it, I actually, might have to possibly not get the game on release since I am tight on money, so congrats Gamestop, for yanking the bundle I think I might just buy the game purposely at Gamecrazy. Anyway, I was planning on importing this game but eventually I just decided to wait for it to come out in America and now I seriously can't wait to play it. I haven't played the Monster Hunter series before and I hope this game is a good start off, of course thanks to all of the innovations of the game, I'm sure they will spoil me crazy and trying to go backwards in the series is gonna be a pain. Anyway, I'm sure this game will be great and I cannot wait to finally play it after I have heard so much about.

2. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)

Do I even have to write (or type... or whatever) anything for this one... I mean come on... It's freakin Mario... and the first Galaxy was so awesome, that just like Brawl I stayed up for well over 24 hours and bought several energy drinks just to stay awake to play more, and when I finally fell asleep, I recall that my dreams were about playing the game more. So obviously since Galaxy 2 looks even better then the first, I seriously can't wait to play it. I seriously look away when I see videos or pictures of the game because I do not want anything about this game spoiled at all, I mean all that was spoiled about the original game for me was that spider boss, and that was pretty much it. I know that much like New Super Mario Bros, once my brother finds out I have this game I will wake up one morning and my Wii will be gone and I won't see it for weeks. Honestly I do not know what else to say, besides the fact that this game is gonna be freakin awesome and I seriously cannot wait until it comes out.

3. Sin & Punishment: Star Successor [AKA: Sin & Punishment 2] (Wii)

I had to put that little "AKA" in there for those of you who either want to stay traditional to the Japanese version, or if you're like me and you would rather say Sin and Punishment 2 because it's easier. Anyway, I heard alot good things about this game and it just sort of sparked my interest, so a few months or so ago I decided to buy the virtual console version of the original N64 game that only came out in Japan, and yeah the voice acting was probably the worst I had ever heard, and I admit the story was a tad confusing, but the gameplay was so awesomely badass. I saw screenshots and a few videos of the sequal and I seriously wanted to import it, but I have decided to just wait for the US version, and much like waiting for Monster Hunter Tri and new Venture Brothers episodes, it seems like times flies by so fast but those things don't seem to feel like they're getting any closer. I have read nothing on the plot, and I am hoping that this might be a bit easier to understand, instead of feeling like one of those games you have to have the manual for the litle story summary thing at the begining. Then again, I wouldn't mind if it was all cheezy like the first game since I just seem to be such a fan of things like that.
